Koko the owl amigurumi pattern

Koko the Owl amigurumi crochet pattern by @hookabee crochet (www.hookabee.com) #crochet #amigurumi #owl #pattern

Crochet a big tubby Owl that is oh so huggable! Koko is a cuddly owl measuring about 9 inches tall (and very round!) when made with worsted weight yarn.

Koko is a true night owl – her  name means ‘night’ in a Native American language! But don’t worry, she will still come out to play during the day 🙂

This owl amigurumi pattern includes detailed instructions and step-by-step photos, plus you can contact me along the way to ask any questions.

It is an easy level pattern that involves starting with a magic ring, single crochet, double crochet, half double crochet, increasing, decreasing, attaching pieces, and working through both loops, back loop only, and front loop only.

Materials you will need:

  • G US (4 mm) hook
  • worsted weight yarn approximately: grey 242 yds (221 m), brown 9 yds (8 m), white 31 yds ( 28 m)
  • yarn/tapestry needle
  • removable stitch markers
  • two 21 mm plastic safety eyes
  • polyester fiberfill stuffing

Note: If you are making this amigurumi for someone under 3 yrs, I recommend crocheting or embroidering the eyes instead of using the plastic safety eyes.

  1. Hi there! I purchased the pattern for Koko from you approximately 6 months ago but have stupidly deleted it from my phone accidently and I am in the middle of making it for a friend for Christmas! For some reason it is not in my library on ravelry either. Can you possibly look back to confirm my purchase and resend the pattern? Thanks!!

        1. Hello Breanna,
Above you can find two links where you can purchase the pattern, either from the website Ravelry or Etsy. Look for where it says: “Purchase on:” and there are two icons to the right, one for Ravelry and one for Etsy, so you can purchase it on the site you prefer. Let me know if you are still having difficulty finding it!
