The hookabee Halloween CAL has come to a close. What fun it was! I fully enjoyed seeing everyone’s ghosts and owls all month long. Thank you so much for all who participated. I think it was quite a success for my first CAL!

On November 1st, I assigned each project that was entered in the CAL a number (in order of appearance) and used random.org to generate three numbers. The first number generated was the ultimate winner of the hook by HeartSprinkle and a hookabee pattern, and the second and third numbers generated each won a hookabee pattern of their choice. The winners were….

Halloween CAL: Prizes revealed!

Halloween CAL 2015 by @hookabeeThe hookabee BOO + HOO Halloween CAL is in full swing and there are already so many cute ghosts and owls being created. I am thrilled with all the creativity that is going on – each ghost is different from the last, with a variety of yarn, smiles, and hats! If you haven’t already, download the patterns (find more information on the CAL thread) and join in on the fun, especially since you could win some great prizes. I am so excited to finally reveal the prizes for the CAL!

On November 1st, when the CAL is complete, I am going to be randomly drawing three lucky participants for prizes. Two winners will win a hookabee pattern of their choice, and one super lucky winner will get both a hookabee pattern AND a hook and stitch marker made by the talented artist Krystle of HeartSprinkle!! Krystle is generously making the prize specially for this CAL, and I couldn’t be more excited. The prize includes a stitch marker and one of her signature bee hooks, like the one pictured below. Two new pattern releases today! And they also kick off the start of the BOO + HOO Halloween Crochet-Along taking place in the hookabee ravelry group. Head on over to check it out! There are prizes and discounts if you join in on the fun.
